Available Discounts We offer the following discounts for overnight boarding rates: Additional Dog – 15% off the daily rate for each additional dog 10-Day Booking – Get 1 day free for every 10 consecutive days booked. Veterans Discount – 10% off First Responder Discount – 10% off SevaDog Adoptee - $10 off your dogs daily rate (only for overnight boarding). Discount Policy Discounts cannot be applied to Rec Pass purchases. Only one discount may be used per reservation. Except for the 'additional dog discount.' The additional dog discount is automatically included and can be combined with other discounts. SevaDog Adoptee discount only applies to the adopted dog and not the other members of the reservation.

All daycare guests intending to join our social daycare program are required to attend our Passport day which is held on Fridays every week. Please note: if you're not intending for your dog to join us for daycare on a regular basis, we recommend not booking this service. Our goals during this process: Evaluate social play eligibility – Ensuring your dog is comfortable and suited for group interactions. We test their reactions around barriers, leashes and resources. Assess recall skills – Measuring their responsiveness in stimulating environments. Build confidence & trust – Helping them feel secure and connected with our team. This structured approach sets the foundation for a safe, enjoyable experience tailored to your dog’s needs. At the end of their stay we will send you a progress report with information on the type of daycare we will want them to attend moving forward.

Yes. Many dogs who struggle in busy or overstimulating environments do well at Orchard Point Kennels. Our team is experienced in working with anxious, selective, and behaviorally complex dogs and prioritizes slow introductions and thoughtful space management during their stay. While we have other lodging options for guests, crates have been our personal choice method for our own dogs. Through Rescue & Training experience, we've learned these important attributes about crates: Safety and Security: A crate provides a safe and secure space for your dog. Especially when we're not around to supervise, like at night, or during a busy rotation period. It helps prevent accidents or injuries that could happen if your dog roams freely around the main-house. Den-Like Comfort: Dogs are naturally den animals. A crate mimics a cozy, den-like environment, offering a space where your dog can retreat to relax, feel safe, and reduce anxiety. Setting A Routine & Potty Training: Crates are a highly effective tool for creating a routine for their eating, sleeping, and potty habits. Dogs generally avoid things like soiling their sleeping areas, so a properly-sized crate encourages them to hold their bladder until they're let outside. Prevents Destructive Behavior: When dogs are left unsupervised, they might engage in destructive behavior like chewing on furniture or shoes. A crate helps prevent this by keeping your dog contained and focused on appropriate toys, Kong's, treats, or rest.

Orchard Point Kennels offers enrichment-based boarding with a focus on realistic dog behavior, calm group management, and individualized handling. Our facility is designed to give dogs space to decompress while still providing structure, routine, and supervision.

With the exception of puppies under the age of 11 months, we do not confirm any booking, without proof for the following immunizations: - DHPP/DAPP - Bordetella - Rabies Exceptions can be made for the following reasons: Puppies under 12 months can be accepted into our care without a Rabies immunization. Your Vetrenarian provides us a note stating your dog is unable to receive one of our required immunizations due to medical reasons.

At Orchard Point Kennels, unaltered dogs are welcome for individualized care, including day boarding and overnight stays. However, to ensure a safe environment, we no longer offer social play opportunities for unaltered guests unless they are puppies under 10 months of age. Please note: if a puppy under 10 months consistently exhibits inappropriate social behaviors (such as mounting or rough play), they may be transitioned to individual day boarding until they are spayed or neutered.

Owners are required to enter in any medical information into their dogs profile. Our team takes this information and plugs it into our white board along with a medical sheet we print out unique to that visitor. We cross-reference your dog’s physical medication packaging with their digital profile as well. Every time we administer medication we track it on the med sheet above to track time and dosage.

Our facility is set between 65 and 72 degrees depending on the time of year and vacancy of our facility. We have mini splits, AC units, and heater units set up in various spaces at our facility to ensure comfort for all of our guests year-round.
